Call for Papers: The United States has the largest incarcerated population in the world with an estimated 1 in 5 prisoners. We invite manuscripts which focus on the politics and/or public policy impact of the US' carceral state, including the politics of immigration detention. We welcome research articles, descriptive research articles, or research notes. This is a rolling call for papers, but we encourage submissions by May 1, 2026.
